We took a one day tour from Sofia to Rila Monastery on 17 October.  Aside from impressions of the monastery itself and the countryside, we want to credit Mr Biliarski, who was an outstanding guide to everything we saw (and heard on the radio, since he knows a lot about traditional music).   Also appreciate the very prompt email replies from your office in scheduling this tour shortly before we left home.
