Lubomir Popiordanov created Zig Zag Holidays travel agency in 1999. His background is huge: master of law, alpinist, passionate traveller, photographer, painter, author of over 100 articles and a book, producer of films, publisher and philanthropist… it is hard to mention all! He is also the co-founder of two associations: “Mountains and People” and the Bulgarian Association for Alternative Tourism. More than ever he spends time to participate in and initiate socially significant causes like nature protection and preservation of the Bulgarian cultural heritage. He believes that Bulgaria can be a prestigious place to live in. And more, that tourism can be developed in a responsible way and the mountains and protected territories can find their place in the hearts of all Bulgarians. Lubomir is married with three children. “What I look for in all of my travels and adventures is the Man. And the Bulgarian man, I believe, even though a little bit suspicious in life, brings within his soul the spirit and the habits of old cultures and nations. To meet one of these men is the real reason for traveling and even… for living!”

Believe your eyes or not, you are facing a rambler & traveller by heart and education – it is a life-time mission based on my strong belief that while travelling people discover not only the world, but also themselves…Someone has said that life does not consist of moments we have lived through, but of those moments that remain in our minds… This is how I feel and see my personal mission in “Zig Zag”: helping people to be discoverers and creators of moments-to-remember no matter if they travel the world or their home land … and I feel like a very important dwarf in the Santa’s work-shop, where dreams become real… Dear travellers, you are always welcome to our work-shop and do not forget to take your dreams with you! :)
